What is CFU-Èlife Body Firming & Contouring?

CFU-Èlife uses focused ultrasound energy delivered at selected depths beneath the skin.

Treatment can be adapted to address skin laxity, suitable areas of localised fat or reduced contour definition. It supports collagen remodelling, while targeted fat tissue is gradually processed by the body.

What happens during treatment?

The area is assessed and mapped before ultrasound gel is applied.

Focused-ultrasound energy is delivered at selected depths, with the settings personalised according to the treatment area, tissue thickness and desired outcome.

Additional information

Pain level	Warmth, tingling, prickling or brief sharp sensations may be experienced.
Full recovery	Most clients return to their usual activities immediately. Tenderness, swelling or bruising may take several days to settle.
Sensitivity period	Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness, swelling, tingling, bruising or altered sensation may occur. Some sensations can occasionally persist for longer.
Results take	An initial tightening is experienced immediately after treatment, with main results developing over 6–12 weeks as new collagen forms. Improvements can continue for up to 4 months.
Results duration	Improvements generally develop over 6–12 weeks and may continue for several months. Results vary according to the concern treated, skin condition, lifestyle and weight stability.
Potential risks	Possible effects include redness, warmth, tenderness, swelling, bruising, tingling and temporary numbness. Additional risks will be explained during consultation.
