What is Dermal Fillers?
Skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid (HA) when you are young, which keeps the skin full, hydrated and elastic. Dermal fillers mimic the effects of HA causing reduced facial lines, scars and increased plumpness of skin and lips. It is also commonly used to treat lines caused by smoking and sun damage.
What happens during treatment?
The Dermal Filler is injected beneath skin, only taking a few moments per site. When injected, the Dermal Filler gets to work, if injected to the skin it will smooth wrinkles and replace any volume lost to the skin. Similarly, they add volume and plumpness when injected to the lips and cheeks. Depending on amount of areas being treated the process can take from 15 minutes to an hour.
Everything is done to make any discomfort minimal.

There will be small swelling initially, but this usually subsides within 48 hours.
Results are evident immediately. Minimal swelling and reddening may appear but this should fade quite quickly and is temporary.
