Your appointment begins with a consultation and suitability assessment to review your skin condition, medical history, current medications and treatment goals.

Your skin is thoroughly cleansed, and protective eyewear is provided. You will then relax beneath the Dermalux LED system while the selected wavelength or combination of wavelengths is delivered for the prescribed treatment time.

Pain level	Dermalux LED Phototherapy is generally pain-free, comfortable and relaxing. It does not use heat or create controlled injury within the skin.
Full recovery	No recovery period is normally required.
Sensitivity period	No significant sensitivity period is normally expected following a stand-alone Dermalux treatment. The skin may occasionally appear temporarily flushed, but this should settle quickly.
Results driven	Some clients notice that their skin appears brighter, calmer and more refreshed following treatment. Improvements in overall skin quality generally develop progressively throughout a recommended course. Results vary according to age, skin condition, lifestyle and treatment frequency.
