What is Laser Treatment for Axillary Hyperhidrosis?

Axillary hyperhidrosis causes excessive underarm sweating beyond that required to regulate body temperature.

The Biotec Italia XLase Plus SLP Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser delivers controlled energy into the underarm tissue to reduce sweat-gland activity.

The aim is to reduce excessive sweating, not eliminate normal perspiration. Results and longevity vary.

What happens during treatment?

Following a consultation and test patch, the area is cleansed and marked. Protective eyewear is worn throughout.

The laser handpiece is passed across the treatment area, delivering controlled pulses at settings selected for your skin and tolerance. Cooling may be used for comfort.

Pain Level	Warmth, heat or brief stinging sensations may be experienced.
Full Recovery	Most clients can resume their usual activities immediately or shortly afterwards.
Sensitivity Period	Temporary warmth, redness, tenderness or swelling may occur. Avoid heat, vigorous exercise, friction and fragranced products for the period advised.
