What is MEDIK8 Clarity Facial?

The Medik8 Clarity Facial is designed for oily, congested and blemish-prone skin, including clients experiencing acne vulgaris.

The treatment uses carefully selected professional formulations to deeply cleanse the skin, remove excess surface oil and improve blocked pores. It also helps support a clearer, calmer and more balanced-looking complexion.

The facial will be adapted to the condition and sensitivity of your skin. Active or medically managed acne may require approval from your GP or dermatologist before treatment.

What happens during treatment?

Your appointment begins with a consultation and detailed skin assessment. We will discuss your breakouts, current skincare, medication and any treatment prescribed by your GP or dermatologist.

The skin is thoroughly cleansed before suitable clarifying and exfoliating formulations are applied. Gentle extractions may be performed where appropriate, but inflamed blemishes will not be aggressively extracted.

A targeted professional mask is applied to help calm, purify and rebalance the skin. The treatment is completed with suitable Medik8 serums, moisturiser and sun protection.

Additional information

Pain level	Generally comfortable. Mild tingling may occur during exfoliation or when congested areas are treated.
Full recovery	Most clients can return to their normal activities immediately.
Sensitivity period	Mild redness, tightness or sensitivity may be present for approximately 24-48 hours.
Results driven	The skin may appear clearer, smoother and less congested. Acne is usually managed rather than resolved by one facial, so a course of treatments and consistent homecare may be recommended.
Potential risks	Temporary redness, dryness, irritation, sensitivity or a short-term increase in blemishes may occur. Results cannot be guaranteed, and this facial is not a medical cure for acne.
