What is RF & Skin Tightening?

What happens during treatment?

The area to be treated is covered in gel and a handpiece is passed over the skin surface, passing heat into the skin. The energy penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat skin tissue and the extracellular matrix. Local heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres and stimulates fibroblasts to accelerate new collagen and elastin production.
